300 George Street

Artfully has been engaged by Shayher Group to curate and manage a major integrated public art commission for their planned redevelopment of the former Supreme Court site at 300 George Street in Brisbane’s CBD. The public art component comprises an artwork screen which wraps around three street frontages and is a signature feature of the site and an iconic feature within the CBD. The Sound that Light Makes by Melbourne-based artist Alex Knox takes inspiration from Maiwar, the Brisbane River, and the dynamic play of light across the moving water’s surface.
