Artfully was engaged by Brisbane City Council to develop a ten-year Art Strategy for the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. The Art Strategy aligns with the Gardens' Master Plan and with an Interpretation Strategy, and seeks to embed the arts in the heart of the Gardens' public programs. The scope of work involved a review of existing arts programs with international benchmarking, sets of recommendations, action plans, and a guiding curatorial framework. A consultation phase with key stakeholders was undertaken, as well as a high-level assessment of existing artworks in the Gardens and identification of future commission locations.
